About Kim

I grew up in a military family and have had the opportunity to live, work, and visit many different states, regions, and countries.  However, I have now called Arlington home for over 20 years.

As a leader my personal values are: Connectivity & Collaboration, Community & Service, and Innovation & Impact.

I have taken on many volunteer roles in service to Arlington’s residents and businesses.  Whether it be an HOA President and Treasurer, Civic Association President, Chair of an Advisory Commission or Local Non-Profit, and/or a Volunteer EMT, I have demonstrated how I lead by connecting, collaborating, and using service to bring our Community together.

My volunteer and my professional background have given me many skills-sets and experiences which enable me to bring innovation and impact to this role.  As a Health IT Manager with Cerner, I have learned to navigate the complexities associated with any Business Process Improvement and/or IT Projects.  As a Senior Manager with Deloitte and a Division Director as ASCO, I have tuned my skills in the areas of project, budget, financial, and relationship management. As the Executive Director of the Columbia Pike Partnership, I have learned so much regarding small, medium, large businesses, County operations, and navigation.

I have lived all over Arlington.  In my spare time, I enjoy Coaching Gymnastics, working out, and taking my pandemic pup on long walks through our Community.  I am also very proud parent of a foster child.
